EPA Official Advises Solar, Wind Energy for Saipan
The Saipan Tribune reports that a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency official has advised that wind and solar power would be the most sustainable energy sources for the island to develop.
David Schaller, keynote speaker for the Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s Marianas Roundtable, told the chamber that although the current popularity of solar power has created a shortage of solar panels, solar energy development would be more feasible than wind energy.
