Hoku Picks Idaho for Solar Plant
Katu News reports that Hawaii-based Hoku Scientific has chosen Idaho as the site for its planned $250 million solar-panel manufacturing plant. Hoku had been considering building the plant in Singapore, but said financial incentives offered by Idaho sealed the deal.
Hoku currently makes makes alternative energy equipment and plans to begin its production of solar modules and polysilicon next year.
