Solarwind Enters Santa Fe
The New Mexico Business Weekly reports that Bluenergy SolarWind Inc., a German producer of solar and wind energy devices, is setting up assembly lines at the Santa Fe Business Incubator. Bluenergy is the developer of a unique wind turbine that also captures solar energy. The wind turbine is vertical, but instead of propellers, it has wings broad enough to attach flexible solar cells on.
Bluenergy manufactures the turbine parts in Germany and they will be assembled in Santa Fe. The company is preparing a model for show at the Santa Fe Design Week exhibition from Oct. 22 to Oct. 29.
