Solar EnerTech Corp. Enters Solar BIPV Market
Market Wire reports that California’s Solar EnerTech Corp. has announced its entry into the Building Integrated Photovoltaic marketplace through a contract to supply solar cells and modules for a high-rise building under construction in Shanghai. The contract with Shangsheng Estate Development Co. of Shanghai requires Solar EnerTech to supply a 40kW BIPV solar module system worth approximately $350,000.
Building Integrated Photovoltaic is one of the fastest growing segments of the solar industry. Solar EnerTech’s new manufacturing plant in Shanghai is close to completion and will begin solar cell and panel production soon.
