Evergreen Solar Enters $100M Agreement
The Worchester Business Journal reports that Evergreen Solar Inc. has agreed with Mainstream Energy LLC to ship $100 million of photovoltaic modules to Mainstream.
Evergreen will supply Mainstream with solar power products that use String Ribbon wafer technology. Mainstream will provide the systems integration and distribution subsidiaries to help Evergreen enter new markets. The four-year deal is Evergreen Solar’s sixth major contract in 12 months, totaling more than $700 million over the next five years.
