Suntech Power Shares Climb
Chron.com reports that shares of solar cell maker Suntech Power Holdings Co. have risen, boosted in part by a bullish report from a Goldman Sachs analyst who rated the stock at a “Buy” with a 12-month target price of $35. Shares of Suntech Power rose 90 cents, or 3.5 percent, to $26.58 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Other solar shares made gains as well, with Nasdaq-listed shares of Evergreen Solar Inc. rising 18 cents to $7.91, DayStar Technologies Inc. shares gaining 19 cents, while Energy Conversion Devices Inc. shares slipped 4 cents to $38.31.
