Largest solar-powered neighborhood in Colorado to be built
YourHub.com reports McStain Neighborhoods will build a neighborhood of 42 solar-powered homes in Westminster. The homes are available in three two-story plans and come standard with solar electric power. Each of the houses will experience an overall utility cost reduction of up to 50 percent and will offset four tons of soot and smog pollution each year for the next 30 to 40 years. Prices start in the upper $400’s and will be available for sale this spring.
