Solar Energy Program Underway in Schools
Monsters and critics.com reports a Connecticut school unveiled a new solar energy system this week, making it the latest to join a national scholastic solar energy program. Pine Point School is using a rooftop photovoltaic system that features 330 panels producing 72 kilowatts. The school plans to incorporate the solar panels into its lessons in hopes of making energy conservation and moving to clean energy sources a part of their students daily lives.
