Solar Water Heaters Save Money
Adelaide Now reports households could end up paying nothing for their hot water by installing a solar hot water heater. The Australian Business Council for Sustainable Energy says the price of the water heaters starts at about $2500, installed, not including the rebate of up to $700 available to households in South Australia. The water heaters are expected to pay for themselves within five years, depending on the size of the system installed.
