Botswana To Bring Solar Energy to Rural Homes
AllAfrica.com reports Botswana Power Corporation will begin a project next year to provide lighting for most rural homes via Photovoltaic power. The Programme has been funded for five years by the Botswana Government and United Nations Development Plan Global Environment Facility. The Programme will be integrated into the ongoing Rural Electrification Scheme.
