Hawai’i gets solar farm
ElectricNet reports Castle & Cookie, Inc. announced that is has signed a contract to build the solar photovoltaic farm in Hawai’i and the fourth in the United States. The solar farm will be 1.5 megawatts and will be built on a 10-acre site in south Lana’i. SunPower Corp., a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer or solar cells, panels and systems, will be constructing the farm.
