Advent Solar Raises $70 million in funds
New Mexico Business Weekly reports on the $70 Series D round of funding closed by Advent Solar Inc. New investors in the company include ZBI Sun Mountain Capital, and Globespan Capital Partners. With the previously raised $40 million in private equity, the total VC investment is about $110 million now. The funding will be used doe expansions to meet consumer demand for Advent’s photovoltaic cells.
