Wear Solar on Your Sleeve
Yahoo! News reports on the new solar jacket that can charge electronics on the go. Italian fashion company Ermenegildo Zegna Holdialia SpA unveiled their outdoor jacket lined with solar modules and a battery at a fashion show in Florence. The solar module can generate up to 1 watt in full sunlight, requires 8 hours to load and when full, can charge a mobile phone or iPod in less than four hours.
