U.S. To Spend $60 Million More On Solar
Earthtimes.org reports the U.S. Energy Department will allocate almost $60 million to increase the use of solar power nationwide. Up to $2.5 million will be used for Solar America Cities cooperative agreements, a program in which 13 selected cities will receive awards to promote increased use of solar technologies. Up to $30 million will be used for universities to research near-term improvements in solar products.
