GE to use DayStar solar cells for research program
The Business Review reports General Electric Co will be using DayStar solar cells as part of a research program. The research program is with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar America Initiative and as part of the program GE was awarded $18.6 million. GE and other subcontractors will be contributing towards the three year program to develop low-cost photovoltaic technology.
