Hydro and Umicore join forces
Oilvoice reports Hydro and Umicore have joined together in the production of solar-grade silicone used in the production of solar cells. The new company will be called HyCore and it’s headquarters will be in Norway. The company’s first step will be to construct a pilot plant at Hydro’s industrial park that will have an annual capacity of 20 tonnes of solar-grade silicon.
