FiberCell and Plexilight to Bring Solar Technologies To Market For Wake Forest University
WRAL.com reports on the formation of 2 commercial companies by Wake Forest University. The companies were created to bring to market technologies developed by the university. The first, FiberCell, will market solar cells based on optical fibers and nano materials. The second, Plexilight, is a new efficient flat panel light source. The product, which can be extremely thin, is efficient due to its gas-less, filament-less design.
