Fewer Solar Investors Than Expected
SignOn San Diego reports on the odd trend that despite many positive signs to invest in alternative energy, fewer then expected have done so. Although over 2/3’s of investors believe in its profitability, less then one quarter have actually put money forth. Some downfalls suspected are the high capital costs and long term return rates. However many advisers see the field on a tipping point with much more money coming in the next few years.
