Solar Ovens
Inhabitat reports Operation Blessing has made a solar oven. Operation Blessing is a non-profit committed to “breaking the cycle of suffering”. The concrete ovens resemble a television satellite dish covered with reflective mirrors. Pointed at the sun it takes only minutes to reach a cooking temperature.
