California to get biggest solar farm
Engadget.com reports Cleantech America will be building the world’s largest solar farm. Due to be completed in 2011, the 80-megawatt spread of solar panels will cover about 640 acres and be 17 times the size of the largest US solar farm currently in existance. The project will generate power for around 21,000 homes and will be sold to Kings River Conservation District.
