Palo Alto Raises Solar Fees
Siliconvalley.com reports on Palo Alto’s increase in solar permit fees. Unlike most of the other cities surveyed, Palo Alto has raised solar permit fees in the past few years from $110 to $327. “They were the only city out of 131 that tripled in price,” said survey lead author Kurt Newick. The Study states “We recommend $300 as a reasonable maximum for solar permit fees.”
