ECOtality acquires solar firm
East Valley Tribune.com reports ECOtality has announced it will be acquiring a San Diego solar energy firm. ECOtality is a Scottsdale-based alternative energy company. The acquisition will add to the company’s portfolio of renewable energy technologies. The acquired firm, Innergy Power Corp., makes P.V. modules and battery packs that provide electricity for emergency equipment, vehicle tracking and mobile communications among others.
