Solar Growing Strongly
The Motley Fool reports on the fact that solar power only provides 0.04% of the worlds energy supply. The article also details PG&E’s intentions to buy an additional 1,000 megawatts of solar thermal power over the next five years, which will doubt its existing commitment to solar power. FPL Group is planning to expand its solar production, and will be spending $2.4 billion to build 300 MW of solar capacity in Florida.
