Liquidia Gets $2 Million Federal Grant
Triangle Business Journal reports Liquida Technologies won a $2 million award from the government to develop a manufacturing process for solar cells. The company received the grant from the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Liquidia has developed a process that can be used to make molds of microscopic particles. The company intends to use that process to develop a better solar cell by changing the physical geometry of PV cells to better convert light into energy.
