Solar Plant Begins Construction in California
TradingMarkets.com reports BT will begin construction on their solar photovoltaic system in the City of El Segundo, California in March 2008. The plant will reduce carbon emissions by 642,000 pounds when fully operational at the end of the summer, this is the equivalent of taking 63 cars off the road for a year. The plant will be owned and operated by Solar Power PartnersInc and BT will purchase 100% of the energy produced.
