Polysilicon Plant Not Happening
Star Bulletin reports Hoku Scientific Inc had intentions to build a polysilicon plant in Idaho, to provide the key component of solar cells. Unfortunately, financial losses have prevented this project from happening and has resulted in a fall-through of a $185 million agreement with Merrill Lynch & Co.
