Chile Considers Solar Plants for the Desert
Bloomberg.com reports the President of Chile has announced increased spending on energy sources. The country is currently encouraging hydroelectric power development and is considering solar power plants to be built in the desert. The purpose for these investments is to end shortages that are threatening the country’s economic growth.
