Hindu Culture Center Runs on Solar
Inhabitat reports BAPS organization, a Hindu organization with 55,000 volunteers worldwide, is in the process of building a sustainable cultural center that will run on solar power. Extra poewr generated from the 60kW system will be sent to a California local grid for distribution. In addition to solar panels, the center will install solar tube lighting to eliminate the use of light bulbs during the day.
