Envirosite Lite Uses Solar Power to Light at Night
MIramichi Leader reports an invention called the Envirosite Lite is a solar powered street lamp that uses photovoltaic solar panels to charge the battery during the day that then powers LED lights at night. The light can go for 100 hours before needing to be recharged in the event of bad weather. Four Envirosite Lites have been produced at this time and two large orders have been placed. The light makes no noise, burns without fuel, emits no pollution, uses 1/7 of the power of other systems, and the 30 foot tower can be folded to fit in a normal shipping crate.

Mike (solar charger) Johnson says:
That’s what I’m talking about. There are so many uses for solar power that could be implemented that haven’t yet.
